Solar power systems are divided into off-grid solar power systems, grid-connected solar power systems and distributed solar power systems:

1. The off-grid solar power system is mainly composed of solar battery components, controllers, and batteries. If the output power is AC 220V or 110V, an inverter is also required.

2. Grid-connected solar power system means that the direct current generated by solar modules is converted into alternating current that meets the requirements of the mains grid by the grid-connected inverter, and then directly connected to the public grid. Grid-connected power generation systems have centralized large-scale grid-connected power generation, which are generally national-level generators. The main feature is that the generated energy is directly transmitted to the grid, and the grid is uniformly deployed to supply power to users. However, this kind of power plant has a large investment, a long construction period, and itself is large, and it has not developed much yet. The distributed small-scale grid-connected power generation system, especially the photovoltaic building integrated power generation system, is the mainstream of grid-connected power generation due to the advantages of small investment, fast construction, small scale, and large policy support.

3. Distributed solar power supply system, also known as distributed photovoltaic power generation system, refers to the deployment of a smaller photovoltaic power generation system at the user site or close to the power use site to support the economic operation of the existing switching network, or meet the needs of specific users These two requirements.

The basic equipment of a distributed solar power system includes photovoltaic cell components, photovoltaic square array brackets, DC combiner boxes, DC distribution cabinets, grid-connected inverters, AC distribution cabinets and other equipment, as well as power supply system monitoring devices and environmental monitoring Device. Its operating mode is that under the condition of solar radiation, the solar cell module array of the photovoltaic power generation system converts the output electric energy from the solar energy, and sends it to the DC distribution cabinet through the DC combiner box, which is inverted by the grid-connected inverter into AC power supply The building’s own load, surplus or insufficient power is adjusted by connecting to the grid.
